Over the years Adept Initiates has been asked for book recommendations for those who are beginning their inner journey. This blog is fulfilling the petition put forth by the aspirant of today and tomorrow.

Have ever read a book that inspired you so much that you decided to change your life? Books are teachers or masters that seek the student when he or she is ready. Sometimes books are written as Novels with an esoteric spirit that fan the spiritual flame of a future seeker.

The Seed

A book plants a seed that will sprout tomorrow or even years later. Just as the Adept who had a seed planted that sprouted and brought them to the point in their life that they are in now.

A Portal

A book is a portal for the neophyte taking the first step into the atrium of the temple of wisdom. The dweller on the threshold meets us in many shapes and forms, one form is ignorance. The aspirant must rise above baseness and eat from the tree of knowledge. The Grand Master is there to guide YOU, not physically but metaphorically through the written word.

1.The Secret Teachings of All Ages by Manly P. hal

Like no other book of the twentieth century, Manly P. Hall’s legendary The Secret Teachings of All Ages is a codex to the ancient occult and esoteric traditions of the world. Students of hidden wisdom, ancient symbols, and arcane practices treasure Hall’s magnum opus above all other works.

2. The Kybalion

The Hermetic Philosophy.

4. The Secret Doctrine
