Ichthus:
Ichthus was a symbol for Jesus in early Christianity, better known today as the “Jesus fish.”
Did you know that Ichthus (ΙΧΘΥΣ) is actually a backronym/acrostic for ‘Iesous Christos Theou Yios Soter, (ICTYS)’ i.e. Jesus Christ, Son of God, Saviour, using the Greek word for fish, “Ichthys.” The Greek word Ichthus (Iota Chi Theta Upsilon Sigma), pronounced ich-thoos, is the word used throughout the New Testament for the English word fish.
The Dagon:
Our ancient gods have long been symbolized by fish but why? Where did it come from? Lets look at Dagon, which was an East Semitic Mesopotamia fertility God of the grain and worshipped by the Philistines.
Dagon in Hebrew is spelled with a “Daleth, Gimel, Vav and Nun” = “DAG + ON.” “Dagon = DAG + AUN = DAGON,” and means ‘the might of the fish.’ What is might? Might is energy, power, a force.
Our Inner Nun נ:
We have to raise our inner dagon; inner dragon force, which is the power of the water also known as Tannin, the great crocodile; the Pharaoh, which is within all of us. We have to raise our inner fish God; our Ichthus to our head. Why..? Because we have to become Nuns נ.
What does any of this have to do with the Hebrew letter Nun נ? Nun נ means fish in Aramaic and fish in hebrew is pronounced Dag; Dagaz, they have the same root meaning..
Nun נ is believed to be derived from an Egyptian hieroglyph of a snake. The Hebrew word for snake, nachash begins with a Nun נ and snake in Aramaic is nun or eel.
Serpent Power
When an initiate begins to raise his/her inner serpent power via kundalini activation, he/she is raising their inner fish; their inner Dagon, their inner dragon, their inner Ichthus; Iesous; their inner Jesus Christ, so we can become Nun’s נ of the priesthood.
