The Nine Gods:

Before digesting Picknett’s percept on the Nine Gods, we must first fathom as is the signature nature of Adept Initiates, the depth and breadth of such meaning. Not to intentionally abstract an already abstract theorem, when sifting through the symbolic mysteries, sometimes vague terminology is used to stoke the flames Darwinian theory that those who cannot process the Mysteries are therefore unworthy of knowing them. In other words, sometimes a definition of twoness, threeness, or even countless other definitions are given to unknown terms. It is a test within a test to decipher the true and hidden meaning of other meaningful words as expressed through art, language, and communication. With the weighty tome of knowledge considered, one must have an interdisciplinary background (whether the product of autodidactism) [self-teaching] one must always be in a state of endless learning, a philosophy embraced by the sacred order of the Jesuits, a scholarly secret society that endows the member with occult knowledge and encourages the adoption of the lifestyle of a “Super PHD”. So when considering any current or future posts made by Adept Initiate’s consider this; not all tales are disseminated with plain  and concise language, intentionally designed for the true Mystery School Student to ponder the cosmic nature of all that exists. Be intellectually vigilant, always. Never stop the relentless search to unlock and unearth the paradigm that calls for it’s jurisdiction of discovery, debate, and learning.

When Picknett discusses the Nine Gods, let us first discuss the other possible meanings of this language used. In quantum physics there are nine dimensions, each with its own sometimes unfathomable laws, principles, and scientific implications that dominate the realms of the dimensions we subside in, the third dimension. In the world of post-modern astrophysics there were originally nine planets that have had a governing influence on the rule of man and nature, at least much insofar is promoted by those that hold true the findings of Western Astrology, which is unlike anything to its more even confounding though arguably more accurate counterpart, Vedic Astrology.

Atum, Shu, Tefnut, Nut, Geb, Osiris, Isis, Set (Seth) and Nepthys.

Picknett triumphantly announces there are Nine primary Gods of the ancient Egyptian pantheon, the Great Ennead, the ultimate personification of beauty, magic, and power.  There are many other prominent ancient Egyptian Gods such as Thoth, the God of Wisdom. He is considered to be the founder of the enigmatic civilization of Atlantis as limned by Freemasonic author and founder of the Brotherhood of the White Temple in his translation and often thought of qualitative work, The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean. No matter how many Gods exist in the Egyptian pantheon, none other surpass them then, at least according to Picknett, the great creator god Atum. All gods within this pantheon serve as functioning components of expressing the greater aspects of godhood. Within the Pyramid Texts, hieroglyphic depictions (found in at least seven pyramids) were thought to have been rooted in the Fifth and Sixth Dynasties, instating that the Nine are One, and not individualistic beings in their own rite and right.

In the past, the mysteries of the Great Ennead were celebrated by a century’s worth of initiate priests and sometimes priestesses at Heliopolis. Their worship of the noble Great Ennead was a significant tenet to their existence, to whom their hidden identities made them accessible to the equivalent of saints and sages. This was an extremely holy Society that took its dogma seriously and literally. The Oneness that was kept in place in worship of the individual Gods/Goddesses of the ancient pantheon helped to sustain the place of the divine with the inexpressible.
